A hummingbird that made its nest on a lightbulb just off the balcony of our hotel in Palm Springs.
Light enveloping the South Loop! Ahhhh. Not really. It is just a 15 second exposure of the crazy fog we had a couple of weeks ago. Turned out kinda neat.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Yes I know it has been 2011 for about 5 weeks now. That is not the point. Like most Americans I have already failed at my 2011 new years resolutions. I have devised a way to wiggle around it. Today is my birthday and I am going to restart them. One of the resolutions was to blog more. Make use of this thing here. And so I will start now. All well-wishing birthday greetings are welcome.
The end has come at last. We got our official Sundance TwentyTen jackets, and we looked goooooood. We spent some time at a discussion about hitRECord.com where “3rd Rock From the Sun”, “10 Things I Hate About You”, and “(500) Days of Summer” star Joseph Gordon-Levitt makes an appearance. You get to see our last mirror confessional that was done the night before I left. I hope you enjoyed the journey.

Way back in early January, I was still in Utah…doing stuff. Here is a video of some of that stuff.. This is leading up to the start of the festival.
This is a photo of myself and my wonderful boyfriend, Charlie (@CharlieChicago). It was taken in the exact place we met approx. one year ago at the Prospector Square Theater. The quick story, for those who don’t know, Charlie and I met there while both volunteering at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. We both lived in Chicago, about two miles from each other ON THE SAME STREET.. yet we meet 1000 miles away. I over heard him talking about Chicago, and I was there by myself and ready to make friends and network, so I introduced myself… :) So there it is. The photo after that one is of the entrance to the theater for kicks.
